It's an hour before we leave for the airport! We have double and triple checked that we have our passports, our cameras and ipods are fully charged, and we have plenty of underwear. As we sit eating strawberries and waiting to leave, we are contemplating if we have exhausted our bad travel luck over the years or if you all should plan on never seeing us again :) ( I hope my grandma is not reading this).
Here are some of our highlights (lowlights?) from past trips:
*Getting kicked off a train at midnight, in a sketchy suburb of Paris, the day before Christmas Eve because the lady at the train station booked our tickets for FEBRUARY instead of December. This is one of the few times I have ever seen my fearlous friend cry.
*Trusting sober Muchens when they tell you to get off the train and then realizing after a 2 hour hike through a resedential neighborhood in the dark, that maybe, just maybe , it may have been wiser to ask for directions from a drunk local on their way back from Oktoberfest .
*Not realizing that Greece is in a different time zone than the rest of Europe and waking up to Amanda shouting "Get Up!! We have to leave NOW", throwing on the nearest article of clothing, and running to the subway while passing a stick of deodarant and a pack of gum around. It is the only time in my life that I have seen 6 girls collectively get ready in under 5 minutes.
So we get into Vienna at 6:30 pm tomorrow and all we have to do is make it to the train station by 9:30 pm for our overnight train to Slovenia. Sounds pretty easy....we'll see how it goes.
Hugs and Kisses!

Good luck friend! You will have a great time no doubt.
*friends
can't wait to hear what you add to the list on this trip.
Hopefully there isn't anything TOO exciting on the trip! (Requiring girls to collectively ready themselves in under... 4 minutes for example)
2 girls 1 deodorant. Hot.
Be safe, take lots o pics :)
